Village of Browntown Fee Schedule

WHEREAS, the Village of Browntown Board of Trustees has determined that it is prudent to create a Fee Schedule to provide efficiency, economy and uniformity in establishing and adjusting the fees charged by the Village of Browntown as enumerated throughout the Village of Browntown Ordinances into one abbreviated schedule, and

WHEREAS, the fees set forth in the Fee Schedule may be added to or amended from time to time by adoption of a Resolution, and

WHEREAS, the Village Board shall review the Fee Schedule on at least an annual basis for the purposes of adjusting and updating the fees charged by the Village, and any amendments or additions thereto may be made by Resolution, and

WHEREAS, the fees set forth in the Fee Schedule shall supersede any fee established elsewhere in the Village Ordinances for the same charge. If a fee is set forth elsewhere in the Village of Browntown Ordinances or via a Resolution, and there is no corresponding fee set forth in the attached Fee Schedule, the fee set forth elsewhere in the Code of Ordinance or the Resolution shall control until such time as a fee for the same charge is established in the Fee Schedule, and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Village of Browntown Board of Trustees approves the following Fee Schedule as defined in the attached schedule and be effective upon passage of this resolution and posting of this resolution.

Adopted on this 30th day of August, 2021 at a meeting of the Browntown Village Board of Trustees.

Schedule of Fees

Water/Sewer/Garbage Fees:

Water Meter Rental (for sewer only customers) quarterly charge based on meter size:

5/8” & ¾” Meter: $43.26

1” Meter: $49.44

1 ¼” Meter: $58.71

1 ½” Meter: $77.25

2” Meter: $120.51

 

3” Meter: $203.94

4” Meter: $327.54                                                       

Deduct Meter $150.00 to purchase (deducts water used via deduct meter for water lawn, garden, pool from the sewer portion of the utility bill, minimum 1,000 gallons used for credit)

Deduct Meter Rental: rent for $20/day with $100 deposit, payable in advance, deposit returned when meter is returned.

Garbage Stickers: $1.00 per sticker

Garbage pickup: $24/per quarter for 1st bag only (each additional bag requires sticker)

Garbage pickup charge of excess bags without sticker: $5/bag without sticker (billed to customer for administrative fee)

 

Additional Fees:

Park Shelter Rental: $50 Shelter only, additional $25 for kitchen access must notify clerk in advance

Driveway Permit: $500.00 ($425) will be returned with board approval of driveway)

Zoning Change Permit: $150.00
Liquor License: $500 per year July 1st-June 30th

Operator’s License: $25 per year July 1st -June 30th

Provisional Operator’s License: $10 (good for 60 days)

Picnic License (short term liquor license for malted beverages): $10.00

Dog License for altered dog: $ 5.00 per year (late fee $5)

Dog License for unaltered dog: $ 10.00 per year (late fee $5)

Park Advertising: $150.00 per year

 4’ x 8’ aluminum will be made by Monroe Sign Design for $500.00-SINGLE SIDED (initial investment)

4’ x 8’ aluminum will be made by Monroe Sign Design for $750.00-DOUBLE SIDED (initial investment)

The cost will be $150 annually and if you choose to not renew the sign is yours.

Copies: $.25/copy

Insufficient Funds (NSF) Check: $50.00

Public Works service/mowing/weed removal/plowing, etc. $80/hour with subsequent hours $50/hour

Square Footage of calculations shall include all floor levels, crawl spaces, basements, decks and porches. The measurement shall be outside the perimeter dimensions.

Accessory structures are structures without roofs and walls such as decks.
